Announcement of Demonstration Team

Letter from Grand Master Hwang

Dear Members

Since last March we have been meeting and training the UITF Demonstration Team. Today I have good news for you. We are planning a trip to the Middle East to visit you troops there. We are working on this project with the U.S. Military Authorities. We have a lot of wok to do to prepare for this project including creating and training a UITF Demonstration Team. Mr. Thomas Gordon and Ms. Jade Hwang are working on administrative work and technical training.

All members involved in this project are working voluntarily. All training expenses including training fees, transportation, hotel, and a video documentary etc. are the responsibility of the volunteers. The U.S. Military will pay all expenses for the trip to the Middle East, which is planned for 10 to 14 days.

The demo team will consist of 10 to12 members. Anyone interested in being on the demonstration team should send in an application, should be a Black Belt and be 18 years old or older by March 2008. Application is open to all ITF Black Belt Tae Kwon-Do students. Each candidate should submit a $200 fee for a travel uniform and training fee. Training will be held in two regions, East Coast and West Coast. Training schedules and information will be posted on the UITF web site.

The final UITF 2008 Demonstration Team will be selected after the November 2007 UITF Florida Tae Kwon-Do Seminar.

Detail information will be available on the UITF web site.
